Grits Fullerton, let me count the ways I love you. For starters, your food is always stellar. Piping hot, salted perfectly, executed immaculately. Some may say your food takes a bit too long, I say it's just right. Bone marrow? Yeah, they have that. Extremely creative renditions of classically prepared dishes. Absolutely.

The service is never sub-par. An indescribable energy permeates within the room. The servers are happy to be serving and the clientele is elated to be enjoying their brunch. No other true brunch establishments exist in Fullerton. To that, I say, there's only need for one, and Grits fulfills that role mightily.

I won't bore you with superlatives and menu descriptions that will do nothing more than make you hungry. Just visit them. As in now.

San Bernardino Fundraiser

Starting Monday, December 7th at 2PM, we will be selling $1 raffle tickets in our pub to anyone that is interested in donating. Not only will proceeds be donated to the Relief Fund, we will also be raffling off five prizes on January 1st, 2016.

-Grand prize will be a 50 inch Flat Screen TV
-Second place prize will be an iPad
-Third place will be a $200 Credit Card Gift Card
-Fourth place will be $100 in Kilt Kash
-and Fifth place will be a Tilted Kilt Gift Basket.

Stop in, buy a raffle ticket or ten from our hostess or your server. Anyone donating more than $20 at a time will also enjoy a complimentary chef's selected appetizer. Dine-in only.

Drawing will be held on January 1st, 2016 and Grand Prize winner need not be present.

We will release additional information regarding the presenting of the donation check as we solidify details with the United Way Relief Fund.

The Holidays in Orange County

The holidays are here in Orange County and what better place to take a stroll and take some photography than Starflower Street in Brea! If you haven't walked or driven this path at night during the holidays, you're definitely missing out! All of the houses are decorated to the fullest and is a fantastic place to take in the holiday spirit, take some photographs and enjoy some hot chocolate. As an owner of digital marketing company in Orange County, it's also a fantastic walk to help clear the mind and just enjoy the moment with family. It's an easy drive from La Habra, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Placentia or Anaheim and definitely worth your time!

Thanksgiving Weekend in Orange County

The air is getting a bit colder and the day's are certainly getting shorter. It was a delicious weekend, to say the least. USC also just beat UCLA, in case anyone is interested.

Anyways, you know the holidays are here when everyone is decorating their houses and ramping up their social media marketing efforts on line. I just finished a successful geo-targeted paid campaign ad on Facebook with great results AND very insightful analytics. (gotta love Power Editor)

What did it accomplish? For starters, it drove traffic into the restaurant that decided to host three large events with less than a week to market them. It also served as a fantastic foundation for future sponsored digital marketing ads due to a plethora of information, such as the most engaged age group, mobile device, time logged in, etc.

If your digital marketing company based on Orange County does not offer any analytical data showing their efforts, results, or at least useful information, it's time to start thinking about Palatable Promotions.

Tilted Kilt, Chino CA

Tuesday, November 3rd marked the first day shooting on location with my newest client, Tilted Kilt. The day proved to be a relatively quick one, since the new menu rollout had not yet been delivered. We did take some photos for a Ronda Rousey UFC promotion coming up on November 14th. $25 per person for a guaranteed chair, rather than $10 to just get in. You could also find 3 friends plus yourself and get a table for 4 people for $100 AND enjoy a complimentary beer tower. Sounds like a no brainer.

Crazy Taco

One of my favorite charity events I have had the pleasure of managing for the TAPS Restaurant Group has to be Crazy Taco. This is a fantastic event put on by Share Our Selves every April in Costa Mesa, CA. The premise is simple: create a crazy, outlandish but delicious taco and serve it to 500+ guests in an effort to raise money for charity.

This is definitely a cause everyone I know can get behind.
